Play Up was founded by a family from northern Portugal whose members have worked in the textile industry for generations. This history and their own experiences as parents were what inspired them to make their first children's collections. The founders of Play Up put their heart and soul into their work — and you can really see this in their products.
Like the label, the products are 100% Portuguese. In addition to fair production, Play Up attaches great importance to sustainability. This is why nearly all their materials have the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification.
Play Up has selected young Portuguese artists to work on their latest series, entitled “Slow Making”. What they’ve created shows an impressive commitment to a responsible, mindful lifestyle. This is the height of slow fashion.
